About The Presenter Bill Dean is an internationally recognized expert on CM. He has more than twenty-five years of practical and unique experience - gained on both the industry and government sides of the process. With Hughes for 18 years, Mr. Dean had top-level responsibility for CM on many major hardware and software programs. With the U.S. Air Force, he developed and refined early CM concepts and standards.
Bill Dean is unique - his experience spans many aspects of CM. He developed CM systems to DoD and NATO requirements; developed and operated CM systems for major contractors and small businesses; has been a CM "troubleshooter" in Europe and Japan; and designed CM systems for unusual applications, among them the Spanish Air Force.
